Seeing a need for local-oriented casual restaurants, two chefs with lots of local experience have opened Napa Valley Bistro on Clinton off Main Street in downtown Napa. “I wanted to make it affordable for locals,” said chef Bernardo Ayala, who with “silent partner” Ernesto Martinez opened the restaurant to serve updated versions of classic American bistro food…The menu highlights local seasonal produce with a throwback to classic American home-style dishes with innovative twists…
