John Lombardo Bio

John’s passion for food started as a child when he used to help his mother create the evening meals. By the age of sixteen he began his career in the food service industry which now spans over 30 years. Upon earning a degree in Food Service Management and a Craft Brewer’s certificate from the American Brewer’s guild he has fine-tuned his skills in every type of restaurant from fine dining to neighborhood cafes. John moved to the Napa Valley in 2004 and has graced many of Napa’s known restaurants with his hospitality and wine knowledge including Mustard’s, Bistro Jeanty and Farm. John happily joined the Napa Valley Bistro team in early 2015 and looks forward to continuing to build Chef Bernardo’s and Ernesto’s vision of elegant and affordable dining in downtown Napa.
